Karen L. (Park) Davidson

Karen L. Davidson, age 67, of Mars, passed away on Friday afternoon, September 3, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born in Butler, PA on February 15, 1954, she was the daughter of Roma Davis Park and the late Wayne C. Park.

A Registered Nurse, Karen had worked at a Nurse Educator for Butler County Community College for 10  years, at Kent State for 2 years and finally at Beaver County Community College for 22 years.  She was a member of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association Board of Directors.

She was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church, where she had served as an Elder. She also had belonged to the Mars Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband, David L. Davidson, who he married on October 21, 1978, two daughters, Darcee Lyons (Nathan) of Adams Ridge and Brooke Manni (Drew) of Grand Rapids, MI, her grandchildren, Jane and Parker Lyons, her mother, Roma Park of Middlesex Twp., a sister, Sheryl Toomey (Brian) and two brothers, Randy Park (Dara) and Roger Park (Susan), all of Middlesex Twp., her mother-in-law, Myra Davidson of Mars and nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services and burial in West Union Cemetery, Pine Twp., PA will be private. Memorials may be made to the Mars Public Library, P.O. Box 415, Mars, PA 16046.
