June E. (Eyman) Sowers

June Eyman Sowers, age 91, of Saxonburg, passed away on Monday evening, February 15, 2021 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp.

Born in Etna, PA on June 24, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Francis W. and Pauline Christ Eyman.

June had worked as a Realtor at West Realty and was a homemaker.

She was active in Through The Bible (TTB.org).

Mother of Gwen Jackson of Saxonburg, Sally (Jim) Moreno of Three Bridges, N.J., Faith Nussdorfer (Bernd) of Chardon, Ohio, Eric Sowers (Colleen) of Charlotte, North Carolina and Daniel Sowers (Fiona) of Middlesex Twp. Also 26 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh H. “Jim” Sowers, who died on November 5, 2006, by a son, Hugh James Sowers, by a brother, Willard Eyman and a sister, Etta Fincke.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at New Life Christian Ministries, 139 Knoch Rd. Saxonburg, PA 16056.
