Judyth B. "Judy" (Theiss) Gross

Judyth B. "Judy" Gross, age 86, of Hampton Twp., formerly of Mars, passed away on Thursday morning, February 6, 2025 in the comfort of her home with her family at her side.

Born in Hampton Twp., PA on January 15, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Florence Eckendahl Theiss.

Judy had been a Mail Carrier for Mars Post Office and later Cranberry Post Office.

She had been an active member of the Valencia United Methodist Church and had also belonged to the Mars Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are a daughter, Rhonda Dunbar (Scott) of Allison Park, four sons, Scott Gross (Sharon) of Mars, Dennis Gross (Sally) of San Diego, CA., and Harlan Gross, III of Allison Park, David Gross (Vicki) of Stafford, VA., her grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Derrick, Judy, Logan, and Morgan, her great grandchildren, Tyler, Shane, Barbara, Noah, Xavier and Amelia, and two brothers, Ronald Theiss and Donald Theiss, both of Merritt Island, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan E. Gross, Jr., who she married on December 31, 1956 and who died on March 12, 1992, by her grandson, Keith, her sisters, Aileen Davidson and Linda Cataldo and by her brother, Gary Theiss.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Martin, officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Valencia United Methodist Church Hall. Private burial in Strattenville Cemetery, Clarion County. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Valencia United Methodist Church, 66 Almira St. Valencia, PA 16059.
