Judith Ann (Hays) Sims

Judith Ann (Hays) Sims, 74, of Glenshaw, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, January 24, 2021, at her daughter Nicky’s home in Mars, after a year-long battle with cancer.

Born in Baldwin, Pa., June 14, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Henry Albert Hays and Phoebe Elizabeth (Reese) Hays and sister of Debra (Philip) Ross.

Her favorite things to do were to knit everyone everything and spend time with her family.

Judy was the beloved mother of Michele Renee (Dougherty) Papakie and her partner Nicholas Anthony Foglia, Michael Raymond (Dana) Dougherty, Melinda Rae (Dougherty) Lauderbaugh and Nicole Dennell (Sims) Varrenti and her partner Adam William Duchak. Her favorite people called her Meemaw: Derek James (Kayla) Papakie, Cameron Michael Dougherty, Logan James Lauderbaugh, Melanie Anne Valenza, Peyton Grace Varrenti, Avery Jayne Varrenti and her great-granddaughter Lana Grace Papakie. She was looking forward to the arrival of her second great-grandchild this spring.
