Joseph E. Parison, Sr.

Joseph E. Parison, Sr., age 76, of Mars, formerly of Saxonburg, passed away on Friday evening, December 16, 2022 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler, PA on August 26, 1946, he was the son of the late John and Anna Puppychuk Parison.

Joe had been a Car Inspector for the Southern Pacific Railroad.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph Parison, Jr. (Jennifer) of Freedom and Thomas Parison (Jennifer) of Houston, Texas, a daughter, Julie Parison of Mars, 8 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, two sisters, Mary Eyth of Houston, TX and Nancy Eidenback in Nevada, and three brothers, John Parison (Helen) of Lordentown, Mike Parison and Nick Parison, both of Butler and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Eva Varos, Zora Carrol, Antoinette Fletcher, Diane Eidenback, Sherry Davis and Mildred Varos.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday from 2-4 PM. Services will follow at 4:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Lawther, officiating.
