Joseph E. Heinl

Joseph E.Heinl, age 90, of Wexford, Pine Twp., passed away on Friday morning, November 10, 2023 at AHN Wexford Hospital. 

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 21, 1933, he was the son of Joseph and Leona Harms Heinl.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a Life Member of the Mars V.F.W. Post 7505. 

Joe was an autobody technician for Billco Volkswagon in Wexford where he worked for 47 years.

He was an avid golfer.

Surviving are three sons, Paul Heinl and his wife, Barbara of Marshall Twp., John Heinl of West View and Joe Heinl and his wife, Connie of Prospect, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a brother, Edward "Slew" Heinl of McCandless Twp.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret M. Haefner Heinl, who he married on May 19, 1962 and who died on November 1, 2012.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Jeff Lawther, officiating. Entombment with Military Honors will be in the Mausoleum at Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland Twp. Memorials may be made to the Portersville Food Pantry, P.O.
