John H. "Jack" Ellis

John H. “Jack” Ellis, age 80, of McCandless Twp., North Hills, passed  away on Monday morning, December 5, 2022 at AHN Wexford Hospital.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 9, 1942, he was the son of the late John and Angie Ellis.

Jack worked for Duquesne Light and enjoyed the retiree’s lunches.  He also loved the McKnight Road McDonald’s coffee group.

He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of North Hills.

Surviving are his brothers, Richard Ellis (Judy) and Gerald “Jody” Ellis (Wendy), both of Mars, also nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Croup.
