John A. Wolfe

On April 10, 2025, I said goodbye to my wonderful husband of 63 years, John A. Wolfe, age 88, of Connoquenessing Twp., Evans City, formerly of Middlesex Twp., at AHN Hospital in Wexford.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 22, 1937, he was the son of the late Zadoc and Esther Callahan Wolfe.

As the 3rd Class Quarter Master, he served in the United States Navy on the vessel, Namakagon.

He was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Twp.

John was a man with a quick wit and positive attitude.

Surviving are his wife, Susan M. Stefanik Wolfe, who he married on December 30, 1961, father of Christopher Wolfe (Julie) of Kennett Square and Mary Wolfe Lopez (Walberto) of Seven Fields, Pap-Pap to Alanna, Amanda, Emily and John.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Martha Donnelly and Eileen Stellar and his brothers, Donald, Richard and William Wolfe.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Sunday, April 13, from 2-4 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Charles Bober, officiating. Please meet at the church. In his memory, donations can be made to the SVDP Society, Cancer Research or to EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network ), a station he watched daily for Mass and the rosary.
