John A. Swain

John A. Swain, age 63, of Mars, died on Friday morning, August 30, 2024 at AHN Wexford Hospital.

Born in Bellaire, Texas on December 13, 1960, he was the son of the late Howard and Jan Schnell Swain.

John was a service technician for Teledyne.

Surviving are his wife, Peggy A. Cassidy Swain, who he married on August 24, 1985, two daughters, Lisa Ripper and her husband, Michael of Franklin and Christine Swain of Charleston, S.C., his grandchildren, Harrison John, Benjamin Marc and Lainey Christine, and a brother, Howard Swain (Nancy Carlin) of Berkley, CA.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Dot Swain.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-7:30 PM. Services will follow at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society or to your favorite animal rescue or humane society in memory of John.
