John C. Harris

John C. Harris, age 70, of Mars, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, December 29, 2021 at his home.

Born in Butler, PA on May 6, 1951, he was the son of the late Robert Reed “Bud” and Catherine Ann Brandt Harris.

John was a truck driver and dispatcher for RAM Trucking in Saxonburg and also was a truck driver for T. J. Hopper.

A member of Old Union Presbyterian Church, he was a Life Member of Adams Area Fire District and was a social member of Mars V.F.W. Post 7505.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Rankin Harris, who he married on July 6, 1974, his son, James R. “J.R.” Harris (Nicole) of Burgettstown, his daughter, Catherine “Kattie” Bordt (Michael) of Mars, his grandchildren, Josie, Faith, Arianna, Kolton, Jamison and Weston and his sisters, Lois Atkinson and Ruth Ann Harris, both of Cranberry Twp.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will follow at 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev.
