Johanna C. (Werder) Darr

Johanna C. Darr, age 47, of Slippery Rock, passed away unexpectedly on Monday afternoon, April 11, 2022 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Silver Springs, MD on February 16, 1975, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Richard H. Werder and Mrs. Dorothy Sennett Werder.  Johanna graduated from Williamsport High School in 1993.

Surviving are her husband, Scott W. Darr, who she married on October 5, 2002, two sons, Nolan and Casey Darr, both at home, two sisters, Heidi Strite (Charles) of Williamsport, Maryland and Maria Wolford (Don) of Foley, Alabama, two brothers, Nicholas Werder of Williamsport, Maryland and David Werder (Lillis) of Virginia, her mother-in-law, Bonnie Schuster Darr of Gibsonia and her sister-in-law, Pam Holcomb (James) of Gibsonia. Johanna was also a devoted Aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Karl Werder, sister-in-law Sandra Werder, and father-in-law Duane “Butch” Darr.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 3:00 until time of Service at 5:00 PM.
