Jill Ann (Lyszaz) Petty

Jill Ann (Lyszaz) Petty, age 68, of Evans City, formerly of Youngsville, unexpectedly went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp.

Born in Warren, PA on October 3, 1952, she was the daughter of Shirley Corbin Hooker and the late John R. Lyszaz.

Jill was a longtime resident of Youngsville, graduating from Youngsville High School in 1970. She became a home health caregiver, helping countless people throughout her life. She was so loving, caring, giving, and selfless. She always put others before herself. Her bubbly personality always lit up the room.

Jill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Loving wife of 48 years to Thomas Petty; beloved mother of Jeffrey (Joanne) Petty; cherished grandmother of Collin, Dillon, and Emma Petty; treasured daughter to Shirley (Gerald) Corbin Hooker of Warren, PA; sister of Gayle (Dan Sr.) Alexander of Elizabethtown, NY; aunt of Daniel (Ashley) Alexander Jr. of Keeseville, NY.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, John “Jack” B. Lyszaz, and her in-laws, Hubert and Iris Petty.

A small memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Family Church, 21150 Rt. 19, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.
