Jeffrey P. Mustovic, R.Ph., age 63, of Pine Twp., passed away on Wednesday evening, May 22, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 12, 1961, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Rosemarie MacVittie Mustovic, Sr.
A Pharmacist, Jeff was the owner of the Evans City Pharmacy and Gift Shoppe. For the past 27 years, Jeff also owned the Evans City Apothecary and Wellness Center, a compounding pharmacy which he operated until October 2023. A graduate of Duquesne University, Jeff had specialized training in asthma, diabetes and compounding procedures and he had continued to enrich his 20 years of experience by attending symposiums held by medical doctors.
He was a member of the Pennsylvania Pharmacists' Association, where he had served as Speaker of the House and was president to the Butler County Pharmacists Association. He was a member of the International Association of Compounding Pharmacists, the National Community Pharmacists Association and Professional Compounding Centers of America. Evans City Pharmacy was once listed in Drug Topics magazine as one of the nation's "Independent Superstars."
He was a member of Sts. Martha and Mary Parish at St. Richard's Church in Gibsonia.
Surviving are his wife, Faithann M. Grigalunas Mustovic, who he married on October 9, 1999, three sons, Christopher, Gabriel and Gregory Mustovic, all of Pine Twp., and his brother, Paul E. Mustovic, Jr. (Ellen) of Pine Twp.
Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held.
