Jean G. (Charlton) Kelley

Jean G. Kelley, age 88, of Cabot, formerly of Saxonburg and Valencia, passed away on Thursday morning, December 12, 2024 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp.

Born in Valencia, PA on February 27, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John William and Wilhelmina Smith Charlton.

Jean was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and had been attending the Church of the Brethren in Natrona Heights.

She was a member of the Women's Club of Saxonburg and the Red Hat Society. She also belonged to the Saxonburg V.F.W. Post 7376 and American Legion Post 683 Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, golf, roller skating and working in her yard.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol Kelley of Imperial, a son, Timothy D. Kelley (Melissa) of Sarver, a grandson, Timothy Dale Kelley, Jr. of Butler, and her nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale L. Kelley, who died on April 21, 2003, and by a brother and sister-in-law, William E. "Red" and Marie Charlton.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Saturday from 4-7:00 PM. Services will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless Twp. Memorials may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd. Renfrew, PA 16053.
