THE FAMILY WILL GREET FRIENDS AT A RECEPTION FOLLOWING THE SERVICE UNTIL 2:00 PM AT THE CHURCH.

Janis E. Hogg, age 60, of Mars, passed away on Sunday morning, February 4, 2024 in the comfort of her home.

Born in Erie, PA on March 22, 1963, she was the daughter of Gerald "Jerry" Brunson and the late Marjorie Johnson Brunson.

Janis had been a receptionist/customer service rep for Billco Volkswagen in Wexford.

A 1981 graduate of Mars High School, she loved to read, do puzzles and facebook.

She was a member of LifePointe Alliance Church in Mars and had been Director of Upward Basketball at the church.

Surviving are her husband, Arthur T. Hogg, who she married on September 23, 1988, her son, Arthur A. Hogg of McCandless Twp., her daughter, Victoria Bower (Luke) of Richmond, VA, her father, Gerald "Jerry" Brunson of Mars and her sister, Deb Kuhn (Phil) of Mars.

Arrangements are  under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Lifepointe Alliance Church, 997 Route 228, Mars, PA  16046. The family will greet friends following the service at the church until 2:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd. Renfrew, PA 16053.
