Janet A. (Glassbrenner) Shreve

Janet A. Shreve, age 75, of Gibsonia, Adams Twp., passed away on Saturday morning, January 20, 2024 in the comfort of her home with her husband by her side.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 8, 1948, she was the daughter of Richard Glassbrenner and the late Rosemarie Hayduk Glassbrenner.

Janet worked in the grill room of Cranberry Highlands Golf Course for 19 years.

She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish in Cranberry Twp.

Surviving are her husband, Gary R. Shreve, who she married on October 24, 1984, a daughter, Jodi Rush of McCandless Twp., a son, John Jeffrey Rush (Tonita) of Los Angeles, CA, a step-son, Gary Shreve of Cranberry Twp., her grandchildren, Cararina, Esmerelda and Arianna, her father, Richard Glassbrenner of McCandless Twp., a sister, Nancy Ponist (Mark) of McCandless Twp. and a brother, Rick Glassbrenner (Patricia) of Amelia Island, FL.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Please meet at the church. Fr. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating.
