James E. "Skip" Cooper, Jr.

James E. "Skip" Cooper, Jr., age 75, of Mars, passed away on Saturday afternoon, August 9, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 28, 1950, he was the son of James E. and Wilda H. Whitehead Cooper, Sr.

Skip was a music teacher for Noteworthy Music in Wexford, where he taught guitar.

He was a member of Bakerstown Methodist Church.

Brother of Rev. Bonnie C. Rupp of Mars, uncle of Jodie Rupp (Stephen Tribou) of Pittsburgh, Sarah Blanchard (Todd) of Dallas, TX, and Jason Rupp (Christine) of Mars, and great uncle of Anabelle, Lily, Christian and Quinlan.
