James William Foster

James William Foster, 94, of Valencia passed away Thursday, Aug 15, 2024 at Cranberry Place in Cranberry Twp.

Born on August 2, 1930, he was the son of the late Wade and Marjorie Kepple Foster.

Jim served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was retired from a life-long career as a mason.  He was an avid Steeler fan and loved riding his tractor mowing lawns.

Jim leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Louise Burchick Foster, three daughters, Sherry Harbison (late Arthur) of Austin, Texas, Terry Foster of Mars, Robin Lawrence (late Jim) of Valencia and a son James "Rick" Foster (Lisa) of Mars.

Jim was the beloved “Pap” to Ken (Lori), Yarda (Tony), Stacy (Matt), Sara (Van), Renee, Justin, and Lindsay and great grandfather to Seth, Jack, Jonathan, Jocelyn, Samantha, Ashley, Rebecca, Chance, and Jayke.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Kenneth, Raymond and one sister Georgetta Burk.

The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Cranberry Place who loved and cared for Jim during his stay. They truly are God’s angels.
