Irene M. (Subkowski) Wheeler

Irene M. Wheeler, age 80, of McCandless Twp., passed away on Friday afternoon, October 10, 2025 in the comfort of her home.

Born in East Orange, N.J., on October 18, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Margaret Balogh Cushing Subkowski.

Irene was an accountant for the Church at the Heights in North Park.

Surviving are her husband, Harold Earl Wheeler, who she married on September 12, 1987, a daughter, Suzanne Kasutchzi of Baden, a son, Robert Paul Wheeler of Baden, a brother, Frank Cushing in Illinois, and two sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Bowker in Tennessee and Valerie Davis in North Carolina.

Preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Earl Wheeler.

Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church at the Heights, 500 Salem Lane, Gibsonia, PA 15044 with Rev. Ralph Vogel, officiating. Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless Twp., PA. Memorials may be made in her memory to the church.
