Helen L. (Hopper) Fugh

Helen L. Hopper Fugh, age 96, of Ft. Pierce, Florida, passed away on Saturday afternoon, February 8, 2025 in the comfort of her home.

Born in Gibsonia, PA on May 30, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Lillie Gibson Hopper.

A homemaker, Helen had worked at the Comfort Inn for 13 years and had been a secretary at Reliance Life Insurance Company in Pittsburgh.

Mother of Daniel Fugh (Cynthia Fugh) of Garden Valley, CA, Nancy Fugh Hamilton (David Hamilton) of Ft. Pierce, FL, with who she resided, Douglas Fugh (Tammy Fugh) of Burnsville MN, and David Fugh (Tree) of Plymouth MN.,  Grandmother of Joshua Wood (Renee), of the Netherlands, Jordan Hamilton of Melbourne, FL, Jadelyn Hamilton, of Wellington, FL, Christopher & Sabrina Fugh of Robbinsdale, MN, Lauren Fugh of St. Paul, MN and Erin Fugh of Eagan, MN.  Great grandmother of Lex and Gwyneth Wood, of the Netherlands, Mila Rose Perri and Crue Anthony Dively of Wellington, FL.  Also many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Nelson Fugh, who she married on June 10, 1949 and who died on October 29, 2012 and by her siblings, Archie Hopper, Alma Hopper Shoop, John Hopper, Marie Hopper Ferguson, Wilma Hopper Nelson, George Hopper, Genevieve Hopper Prymas, James Hopper, Lawrence Hopper and William Hopper.

Friends received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 1-4 PM Services will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Private burial in Bakerstown Cemetery.
