Helen (Rowswell) Fisher

Helen R. Fisher, age 103, of Verona, formerly of Murrysville, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Seneca Place in Verona.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 30, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Hamilton Rowswell and Bessie Helen McLaughin Rowswell.  

After graduating from Peabody High School in 1939, she worked for Carnegie Steel as a stenographer.  Helen enjoyed her family and friends, Caribbean Cruises, and life on the beach.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fisher (2016) and her brother, Thomas A. Rowswell (1946).

Helen is survived by her daughter, Patricia L. Helsley of Vandergrift; a son, Thomas Fisher of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
