Gregory "Greg" T. Hilscher

Gregory "Greg" Thomas Hilscher, age 35, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Mars, passed away in his sleep on Sunday, April 9th, 2023.

Surviving him are his mother Colette, father Jay, stepmother Janice Cramer, brother Jay Jr., sister Lindsay Freeman (Ryan). Also surviving him are numerous aunts and uncles, five nieces and nephews that will sorely miss their Uncle Greg, and five step-brothers and sisters.

He was a 2007 graduate of Mars High School.

He worked at Giorgio’s Place in Pittsburgh.

Greg was known by all to be loyal, selfless, the ultimate entertainer and talented; he was 1 out of about 12,500 golfers to have ever made a hole-in-one. You could rely on him to catch fastballs behind home plate just like you could count on him to know just the song to get you dancing and he would dance right along with you. He was so loved and will always be remembered.

There will be a gathering of friends and family at LifePointe Alliance Church,  997 Rt. 228, Mars PA on Friday, April 14th, 2023 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
