Gloria J. Ambroziak

Gloria J. Ambroziak, age 91, of Mars, formerly of Valencia, passed away on Monday evening, July 29, 2024 at UPMC Jamison Hospital in New Castle.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 28, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Hazel Danver Blacksmith.

A homemaker, Gloria was a member and former Deacon at the Valencia Presbyterian Church.

She also was a Cerebral Palsy patient care aid and had volunteered at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars for many years.

Surviving are two sons, Douglas J. Ambroziak and his wife, Sally of Ellwood City and David L. Ambroziak in San Antonio, TX., two grandsons, Timothy Ambroziak (Nicci) of Chippewa and Steven Ambroziak (Jamie) of Ellwood City and a great granddaughter, Shiloh Ambroziak.   

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Ambroziak, who she married on September 12, 1952, and who died on April 3, 2005 and by a sister, Mary Lois Klinger.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-7:30 PM. Services will follow at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery, Pine Twp. Memorials may be made to the Mars Public Library, P.O.
