Glee Emily Lang

Glee Emily Lang, age 86, of Middlesex Twp., Valencia, PA, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 6, 2022 in the comfort of her home with her family at her side.

Born in Cooperstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Glee Sarah Truver Marshall. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Pearl Love, Birdie Kroll, Jane Filipow and Glee Sarah Marshall, who died at birth and by her brothers, Roy “Cap”, Sam “Jack”, William, Charles, Robert, James, Joy “Joe” and Paul E. “Hoover” Marshall.

She was a member of Glade Run Presbyterian Church.

Glee was the life of the party. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Everyone was welcomed into her home and enjoyed her famous dip.

Surviving are her sons, Walter “Butch” Lang, Jr. of Butler and James Lang of Valencia, with whom she made her home, a daughter, Beth Lang Zollner (the late Edward) of Butler, four grandchildren, James, Courteney (Justin), Zach (Amy), Zara (Anthony), her great-grandchildren, Alex, Mila, Owen, Eli and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Lang, who she married on August 14, 1954 and who died on April 12, 1993.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Friday from 4-8 PM. Additional visitation on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Glade Run Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Rd. Valencia, PA 16059.
