Geraldine Z. Wolfe

Geraldine Z. Wolfe, age 84, of Mars, passed away on Tuesday morning, October 21, 2025, under the care of UPMC Passavant McCandless.

Born in Bloomfield on July 18, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Louis Zappa and Amelia Withowski Zappa.

Geraldine had been a homemaker and was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at St. Kilian Church. She enjoyed traveling, tennis, was a great pet lover and especially loved her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, William “Bill” Wolfe, whom she married on February 16, 1963; her son, Bradford Wolfe (Arlene) of Natrona Heights; her three grandchildren, Zachary Wolfe (Jessica), Benjamin Wolfe and Abigail Wolfe; one niece, Connie Cannon; and one nephew, Lou Thorton.

In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her sister, Theda Thorton.

In accordance with Geradine’s wishes, private visitation and blessing services were held at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA, and she was laid to rest at Holy Savior Cemetery.
