Frank Caylor Obituary

Frank B. Caylor, age 82, of Seven Fields, formerly of Murrysville/Plum Boro area, passed away on Friday afternoon, October 7, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born in Springdale, PA on August 16, 1940, he was the son of the late Jess and Mathilda Woods Caylor.

Frank was a self-employed Sales Rep in the Steel Industry.

He was a member of St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Twp. and also a member of the Oakmont Country Club, where he was an avid golfer.

He was a huge sports fan and longtime Steeler season ticket holder, he also loved Pitt football and basketball. His love of sports earned him the nickname “The Sports Pig”.

Surviving are his wife, Emmy Lou Reyer Caylor, who he married on November 21, 1964, his daughter, Alison Butler (Tim) of Seven Fields, his son, Douglas Caylor (Colleen) of Memphis, Indiana, his grandchildren, Reilly, Jack, Shea, Frank, Marnie, Sam and Kevin and a brother, Joseph Caylor.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Monday from 3-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Tuesday at 11:30 AM. Please meet at the church. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Tarentum.
