Frances E. Weaver of Mars went into the loving arms of the Lord on Friday, August 4, 2023.
She was born in Wexford on July 27,1933, the daughter of the late Joseph A. Weber and Anna Haefner Weber. She was the last surviving member of her family preceded in death by her siblings Norbert Weber, Margaret Bonzer, Joseph Weber, And Edwin Weber.
She graduated Mars High School in 1951, and then went on to business school in Pittsburgh while working for American Standard.
Frances married Daniel H. Weaver on February 9,1954; he preceded her in death on June 28,2001. She was a member of St. Kilian Parish since the age of 5. She also was a member of the Christian Women’s Guild. She worked at Mars National Bank for 33 years. She was also actively involved in the Bankers Association, AARP of Mars, and the Women’s Club of Mars. She was also an avid gardener. She always loved planting her flowers and watching them grow and seeing their beauty.
Frances is survived by four children. Regina Lape and her husband Robert of Evans City, Barbara Spithaler and her husband Martin of Valencia, Howard Weaver and his wife Elizabeth of New Bern, North Carolina, and Lisa Kelley and her husband Kenneth of Phoenix, Arizona.
Grandchildren; Angela Parent, Adam Spithaler and his wife Jamie, Grant Spithaler all of Cranberry Twp. Sarah Weaver of New Bern, NC, Kara Kelley and her fiancé Alex, Megan Kelley all of Phoenix, AZ
Great Grandchildren; Lauren Sumida and her husband Justin of Salt Lake City, Utah, Taylor Parent of San Diego, CA, Robbie Lape of Washington, PA, Avery Elizabeth of New Bern, NC. Her sister in-law Dona Weber of Mars, and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons Robert C. Lape and Daniel E. Weaver.
Family and Friends will be received at St Kilian Church 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066 on Wednesday August 9, 2023, from 10:00 – 11:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. Fr. Charles Bober officiating. A private burial will follow in the Mars Cemetery
