Faith E. (Wetmore) DeLong

Faith E. DeLong, age 80, of Valencia, went to be with her family above on Saturday afternoon, October 25, 2025 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA  on October 13, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Carl Winston and Adelle Eleanor Moore Wetmore.

Faith had worked as a nurses aide at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars for 16 years.  She also had been a waitress at Howard’s Restaurant and at Suzie Q’s, both in Mars.

Faith especially loved time spent with her family, friends, the Tuesday Lunch Bunch and weekend camping.

Surviving are her husband, George D. DeLong, who she married on January 30, 1965, by her children, Jenifer L. Fleming (Mike) of Mars, Dana M. Evans (Jeff) of Gibsonia and George D. DeLong, Jr. of Mars, her grandchildren, Leah Brooke Fleming, Alyssa Hope Miller, the late Cody T. Mahon, Emma Leigh DeLong, Declan Owen DeLong and her great grandson, Javier DeLong-Martinez and sister of Donald Wetmore (Laura) and Carl W. Wetmore, Jr. (Paulette), both of Hudson, FL,  Dorothy Wetmore Lea (John) of Finleyville and the late Gene Wetmore, and the sister-in-law of Mary Ann Wetmore of Apollo, PA, also by her granddogs, Kokomo, Stella and Sage.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery. Directions and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
