Evelyn Ruth Cunningham Berry, age 98 formerly of Wexford, passed away on Sunday evening, April 19, 2026 at Concordia of Cranberry.
Born on June 23, 1927 in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ethel Fowler Cunningham. She was preceded also by her sister, Marjorie Hutchman.
Mother of.Diane Repp (Denny) and David Berry (Deborah), grandmother of David, Debbie, Jared, Rachael, and Ashley, great grandmother of Alex, Nicholas, Bridgette, Brooke, Gavin and Henry.
Evelyn had worked at U.S. Steel after high school graduation as a secretary, was a homemaker for many years, a part owner of Berry Auto Parts, and a supervisor for Quaker State Oil.
She volunteered at Passavant Hospital and was on the Auxiliary Board organizing many banquets. She also volunteered at several Nursing Homes. For many years she spearheaded and was on the reunion committee for the Mars High School Class of 1945
She loved to travel and camp. Owning a camper at Moraine for several years and spending time at Parker Dam State Park every year including a day trip last summer at the age of 98.
She loved to play games and cards with family and friends....but small change was always involved. She enjoyed trips to the casinos, playing bingo and playing the daily numbers.
She was a wonderful cook and hostess and insisted on hosting every holiday at her home. Christmas time included baking cookies with Diane and nut rolls with David.
She was a woman of strong faith and had a prayer bag that she confidently put her prayers in. She loved Gospel music and played it before bed every evening.
