Emily Matz Obituary
Emily B. Matz, age 83, of Mars, passed away on Friday morning, October 18, 2019 at Valencia Woods.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 31, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Goetz Bischoff.
A homemaker, Emily had worked as a switchboard operator for A.T. & T.
She was a member of the Ingomar United Methodist Church, the Teutonia Mannerchor and the Alpine Ski Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Gourash of Mars, two sons, John Matz (Karen) in California and Jeffrey Matz (Carolyn) of Bel Air, MD., her grandchildren, Matthew, Lindsey, Sophia, Blake, Gracie and Dekker, and a brother, Paul A. Bischoff (Joann) of South Hills.
A private family service is being held at the convenience of the family.
McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA is assisting the family with arrangements.
