Elliana Boatwright Obituary

Elliana C. Boatwright, age 9, of Adams Township, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, June 25, 2019.

Born on January 12, 2010, in Pittsburgh, she is the daughter of Peter B.H. and Kerri L. Staufer Boatwright.

Elliana was a student at Mars Elementary School. She belonged to the Northern Steel Soccer team and attended Bella School of Dance. She loved arts, crafts, horseback riding, and all other animals.

In additions to her parents, surviving are her siblings, Annabel R. Boatwright, Brayden P. Boatwright, and Allison E. Boatwright; maternal grandmother, Kathleen Staufer of Kalamazoo, MI and paternal grandfather, R. Bryan Boatwright of Denton, TX, her aunts and uncles, Amy (Rod) Sandberg, Spokane, WA, David (Brenda) Stauffer of TN, Mark (Lori) Stauffer of MI, Stephen R. Boatwright of AZ, and Marc W. (Betsy) Boatwright of NC. Also survived by many cousins.

Preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Lois Anne Boatwright. Shortly after her death, her maternal grandfather, W. Bryan Staufer, passed away.

Burial in Mars Cemetery, Adams Twp.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in Elliana’s name be made to “The Children’s Center” at the Cornerstone foundation.  Elliana has always had a heart for orphans, praying for many by name over a number of years.  The Children’s home takes care of orphans in Honduras, and it is where Elliana’s little sister grew up. A Celebration of Elliana’s life will be held on Saturday, July 13th at 11:00 AM at North Way Christian Community,12121 Perry Highway, Wexford PA.
