Elizabeth J. (Jones) Hunter

Elizabeth J. Hunter, age 95, of Mars, passed away on Sunday morning, November 30, 2025 at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Warren, Ohio on May 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Mac and Florence Bradford.

Elizabeth had worked as a housekeeper and cook for the Shank Family in Mars. She had also been a tax preparer for H. & R. Block and more recently was the activities director at St. John's Specialty Care Center in Mars.

She was a member of Old Union Presbyterian Church in Mars and was in the Red Hat Society at St. John's.

Surviving are a son, Dennis Hunter (Vicki) of Mars, a daughter, Beverly Hosey of Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter-in-law, Brenda Hunter, four grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. She also had two sisters, Thelma Allen and the late Frances Hopkins.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Hunter, and by her son, David E.
