Earl L. Zortman

Earl L. Zortman, formerly of State College & Glen Richey, passed into eternal peace on October 18, 2022 at the RoseCrest Assisted Living facility in Mars, PA.  He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-eight years, Betty (Ireland) Zortman, son Randy & daughter-in-law Lana (Lechner) and two cherished grandchildren, Alexandra “Ali” and Dane A. Zortman of Chicago, IL & Pittsburgh, PA respectively.  He is also survived by brothers, Allen Zortman of Mahaffey and Ronald Zortman of Clearfield.  He was employed by North American Refractories Co. in the Research Labs at both State College & Curwensville. He was a member of the State College & Glen Richey Presbyterian churches.   He was a wonderful husband, an excellent father & father-in-law and a proud and loving grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Nov. 7 at the Presbyterian Church of Clearfield.   Arrangements are under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
