Paul Wyman, 94, passed away on February 22, 2025, in McCandless, Pennsylvania. He was born on February 4, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, and earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio University before completing a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Michigan State University.
In 1954, he married Frances Hohl, who passed away in 2023. He worked as a Chemical Research Director for several companies throughout his career and was recognized as an expert in his field. Upon retirement, he and Frances moved to Butler, Pennsylvania. They were longtime supporters of University of Pittsburgh athletics and held season tickets to Pitt football games for many years.
Don was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He is survived by his two sons, Donald and Jonathan, and their spouses, Rebecca and Lori. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church,with burial in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, PA Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
