Donald E. Rohrbaugh, age 79, of Franklin Park, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 23, 2021 in the comfort of his home with his family at his side.
Born in York, PA on June 30, 1941, he was the son of the late Mary Chronister Rohrbaugh.
Don was a talented math teacher at North Allegheny and a trusted guidance counselor for the Shaler Area School District.
He was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wexford.
Don leaves a legacy of being a kind, social and loving man. He deeply loved his wife and family. His sense of humor was legendary. Sometimes referred to as the "Mayor of Hidden Valley", Don loved skiing and spending time with his family in the Laurel Highlands.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Langherst Rohrbaugh, who he married on June 13, 1964, three sons, Scott Rohrbaugh (Carey) of Waldorf, MD., Eric Rohrbaugh (Gina) of Gibsonia and Reed Rohrbaugh of Seven Fields. He was a wonderful Pop-Pop to his grandchildren, Matthew, Kevin, Teagan, Adam and Sydney.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Louann Plante and his brother, Charles Rohrbaugh.
Friends are invited to a Memorial service to be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2500 Brandt School Road Wexford, PA 15090 at 11:00 AM on Saturday June 26th with luncheon to follow in the Fellowship Hall.
