Delores J. "Butch" (Bertovic) Scott

Delores J. Scott, age 84, of Adams Twp., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday evening, March 23, 2026 at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 25, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Bertha Seamon Bertovic.

She shared a lifelong love with her husband, her junior high sweetheart, beginning at just 13 years old-a rare and enduring bond.  Delores was devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in time spent with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, playing bingo and relaxing at the beach, where she loved the warm sun on her face.

She will be remembered for her love, strength, and dedication to those closest to her. She will be deeply missed.

Delores had worked as a secretary for Westinghouse and was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Township and also belonged to the Treesdale Golf and Country Club.

Beloved wife of Bernard C. Scott, Sr., who she married on August 1, 1964, loving mother of Kristy Boyles (Greg) of Madison, Ohio and Bernard C. Scott, Jr. (Susan) of Plum. Grandmother of  Bernardo Scott and Brandan and Logan Boyles.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, her twin, Doris Evans and Barbara Crnovic.

There will be no calling hours. Family and Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Friday at 10:00 AM. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Holy Savior Cemetery in Richland Twp. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Reflections of Grace Foundation at reflectionsofgrace.org.
