David L. VanDyke

David L. VanDyke, age 71, of Cranberry Twp., passed away on Wednesday morning, January 4, 2023 in the comfort of his home.

Born in Butler, PA on June 22, 1951, he was the son of David A. and Patricia Snider VanDyke.

He was a chef and had owned the Fifth Avenue Bar and Grill in Clarion.

David was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Sahli VanDyke, who he married on July 20, 1978,  a daughter, Heather McCoy (Kevin) of Penn Hills, a son, Ben VanDyke (Beth Ann) in Arizona, his grandchildren, Andin, Kellan and Ashlyn, his parents, David and Patricia VanDyke of Connoquenessing, a sister, Cathy Williams (Fred) of Connoquenessing, two brothers, Mark VanDyke (Cindy) of Shippenville and Steve VanDyke of Evans City and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer N. VanDyke.
