Dante J. Tabacchi, II., age 79, of Seven Fields, passed away on Tuesday morning, January 24, 2023.

Born in Curtisville, PA on May 1, 1943, he was the son of the late Dante and Mary Leta Walchesky Tabacchi.

Dante was a 1961 graduate of West Deer High School.  He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Most of Dan’s working years were in Sales and Marketing for Koppers, U.S.Steel, Aristech in Pittsburgh, Swan Corp in Illinois and Avonite in New Mexico.

A gifted handyman who could fix anything, he was always willing to help others with his many skills.  He was the most loving, kindhearted and unselfish husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn “Evvy” Flanagan Tabacchi, who he married on September 12, 1964, three sons, David Tabacchi (Denise) and Michael Tabacchi of Seven Fields and James Tabacchi (Debbie) of Butler, his grandchildren, Gianna and Dante Tabacchi, and a sister, Mary Leta Biehl (Harold) of West Deer.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Saturday at 12:00 Noon. Please meet at the church. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
