Constance "Connie" (Smith) Reilly

Constance "Connie" Smith Reilly, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2021 at 67 years old. Born in Pittsburgh in May 1953, Connie was a native of Squirrel Hill where she raised her family and spent most of her life. She was a loving mother, caring sister and friend and devoted Grammy. In her professional life she was a dedicated social worker. Connie had a kind heart and a gentle spirit. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Francis A. Smith and Helen Wilson Smith. She is survived by her daughters Kim (Mike) Caughey, Katie, and Megan; grandchildren Daniel, Brendan, Giana, Abby, Maddie, and Kayla; as well as siblings Francis, Greg (Liz), Chris (Joan), Barbara (Tom) Moran, Jenifer (Burt) Aikman, Stephanie Clark, Winifred (David Lillehaug), Hilary, Leslie, Jeff (Nancy), and many nephews and nieces. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and the University of Dayton. Spending time with her grandchildren was a highlight of her retirement and she enjoyed traveling to visit them, especially when a pool or beach was involved. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity of your choice. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
