Claude Leon Neat, age 90, of Cranberry Twp., formerly of Zelienople and Ross Twp. passed away on Tuesday afternoon, December 29, 2020 at UPMC Cranberry Place.
Born in Frostburg, MD on January 2, 1930, he was the son of the late Claude and Ida Weir Neat.
Claude had been a steelworker for LTV Steel, Pittsburgh Works. He then worked as a security guard for the Butler Auto Auction.
He was a member of Mars Alliance Church, now LifePointe Alliance Church in Mars.
Active in Masonic Orders, he was a Past Master of Corinthian Lodge F. & A.M.
Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Anglum and Carol Wokutch, both of Cranberry Twp., six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Also a sister, Norma Scarpelli of Frostburg, MD.
He was preceded in death, by his wife, Helen Louise Ketterman Neat, who he married on December 10, 1949 and who died on January 7, 2011.
Friends and family will be invited to the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 10 – 12 PM with a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
