Clarissa R. Soergel

Clarissa R. Soergel, age 21, of Mars, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday afternoon, December 19, 2023.

Clarissa was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 4, 2002, the daughter of Kevin B. and Jolene M. Commarato Soergel.

She was a 2021 graduate of Mars High School.  Clarissa loved caring for animals, large and small, especially her dogs, Casie and Cassidy. She loved drawing, singing and playing travel soccer.  She was a member of Victory Family Church in Cranberry Twp.

Clarissa was a dog groomer at Kait's Grooming Gallery in Perrysville and for Playful Pooch in Mars.

Surviving are her parents, Kevin and Jolene Soergel of Mars, her brother, Kevin Soergel, Jr., a law student at Duquesne University, her maternal grandparents, Robert and Michaline Commarato in New Jersey and her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Jean Soergel in Ohio.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 1-4 PM. Services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home, with Rev. John Nuzzo, officiating. Memorials may be made to Victory Family Church, 21150 Rt. 19, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.
