Christine Lynn Obituary

Christine M. Lynn, age 69, of Marshall Twp., Warrendale, passed away on Monday evening, June 6, 2022. She passed away peacefully on her own terms in the company of the love of her life for the last 49 years and her dogs on her lap.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 31, 1952, she is the daughter of Philip M. Cardone and the late Betty Fitzgerald Cardone.

Beloved wife of David H. Lynn, who she married on November 18, 1972, devoted mother of Erin Angelo (Daniel) of Gibsonia, Jennifer Hart (Tom) of Sarver and Jaime Bell (Timothy) of Sewickley, loving Nana of Samantha, John, Nathan, Luke, Jacob, Mackenzie and Charlotte, daughter of Philip M. Cardone of Murraysville, sister of Phyllis Macioce (Tony) of Irwin, Margaret Hoye (Keith) of Medina, OH and the late Philip Cardone, Jr., and sister-in-law, Patty Cardone of Export.

Christine had been an Elementary Secretary for Muhlenberg School District in Reading, PA.

She was a member of St. Kilian Church, where she was a Eucharistic minister.

Chris was the friendliest and kindest person you’d ever meet. She would welcome you into her home and insist on feeding you a meal with a smile on her face.

Lovingly referred to as “nana” by her grandkids, who were the center of her universe.

Family and friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. The family requests that masks be worn. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Saturday at 9:30 AM, with Fr. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating. Please meet at the church. Burial will be in Holy Savior Cemetery, Richland Twp., PA. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to the ALS Association of Western Pennsylvania, 416 Lincoln Ave. Millvale, PA 15209.
