Chris Christensen

Chris Christensen, age 93, of Butler, passed away on April 6, 2026.

She was a 1950 graduate of Mars High School and was very actively involved in arranging class reunions for many years.

Chris was the mother of two children, Gayle and Billy, both of whom passed away several years ago.

She had several interesting jobs including P.R. Director at Wanamaker Department Store in Philadelphia and at a large mall in Atlanta. She also worked at a radio station and sold real estate in Florida. After moving back to the Butler area, she opened a women's consignment store in Allison Park and Middlesex Twp., which she owned for several years.

Surviving are her grandson, Nathen, daughter-in-law, Raquel, great grandson, Tony and her sister, Sharon. She also leaves behind three loving nephews, Greg, Chris and Eric, great aunt of Iris and Webb and several other nieces and nephews.

A private burial will be held at Brownsdale Cemetery in Penn Twp. Memorials may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd. Renfrew, PA 16053.
