Carolyn A. Kunzler, age 80, of Penn Twp., Butler, passed away on Friday morning, January 23, 2026 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 14, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Charlotte Andrews Fisher.
A loving wife and mother, Carolyn was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at Holy Sepulcher Church. She enjoyed scrapbooking and decorating.
She was a member of the Mars V.F.W. Post 7505 Ladies Auxiliary.
Carolyn also formed life long friendships from serving as a Girl Scout Leader with Carol Eichner, Jane Drozda, and Elaine Raible.
She was a good cook, loved baking and was a huge Steeler fan, but she is most known for the love of her family and her grandchildren.
Beloved wife of over 58 years, Charles J. “Chuck” Kunzler, who she married on October 28, 1967, loving mother of Nicole Friedman (Raymond) of Cranberry Twp., Charlotte Barto (Jeffrey) of Renfrew, Charles M. Kunzler (Jacquelyn) of Ashtabula, Ohio and Joseph C. Kunzler of Penn Twp., grandmother of David Wilt, Brandi Bingle (Bill), Marisa Chiorazzo (Michael), Richard Kunzler (Whitney), Kandyce Barraclough (Kody), Haley M. Kunzler, Julianna Baney (Hunter), Sam Bones Kunzler and Joe Kunzler (Isabelle), great grandmother of Ally Rae Lemus, Carter Lemus, Kennedy, Challis and Everett Kunzler, Hadlee Grace Baney, Cooper Jensen Baney, Kole, K’Lynn, Kahliah, Kaiyoshi Barraclough and Briella Bingle, Tiondra Chiorazzo and Christopher Friedman and also lovingly remembered by the best cousins ever.
Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian burial at Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Rd. Butler, PA 16002 on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Please meet at the church. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
