Carol Jean James

Carol Jean James, age 84, a resident of Manorcare, formerly of Wexford, passed away on Sunday July 14, 2024 while under the care of UPMC Passavant McCandless.

Born in Pittsburgh, on December 10,1939, she was the daughter of the late Robert H. James and Loretta Harris James. Carol was a born again Christian, and had worked in the nursery at North Hills Passavant Hospital. She also worked for K-Mart and Zayres in the North Hills.  Carol is survived by her brother, William James and his wife Rebecca; her two sisters, Sue Politowski and her husband Jim, and June Fisher; a brother-in-law, Patrick Nestor; her very dear friend, JoAnn Hovis; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Nestor; and her brother-in-law, Jack Fisher.

Friends and Family of Carol James will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home Inc., 238 Crowe Ave Mars, PA 16046 on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M..

Funeral Services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11:00 A.M..

Burial will follow in the Mars Cemetery.
