Carol A. (Twaddle) Funk

Carol A. Funk, age 83, of Middlesex Twp., Valencia, passed away on Saturday morning, January 10, 2026 at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 7, 1942, she was the daughter of the late George and Clare Horgan Twaddle.

Carol and her husband had owned Linden Market on Pittsburgh's Northside and later she worked as a clerk at Mars Foodland.

Surviving are her husband, James R. Funk, her son, Rick Funk and his wife, Kate of Middlesex Twp., her daughters, Sue Dugan and her husband, Mike of Cranberry Twp. and Kim Kirkpatrick and her husband, Chad of Wexford and her grandchildren, Ryan (Paige) Kirkpatrick, Sean Kirkpatrick, Rachel Dugan, Caitlin Dugan, Riley Funk (Jake), Tyler Funk, Matthew Funk, Jacob Funk and Ella Funk.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Twaddle.
