Barbara G. Barr

Barbara G. Barr, age 85, of Mars, formerly of New Sewickley Twp. and Gibsonia, passed away on Sunday morning, October 17, 2021 at Concordia at Rebecca Residence.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 11, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Charlotte Trout Fisher.

She was a member of St. Ferdinand's Church, Wexford V.F.D. Ladies Auxiliary, and active in St. Kilian Church. She also enjoyed Bowling League with her friends and card club.

Long time antique dealer, Barbara owned Pine Valley Antiques. She also worked at the Brush Creek Inn.

Surviving are two daughters, Roberta Stack (Timothy) of Mars and Shelly Barr (David Land) of Bairdford, a step-daughter, Christine Barr (Ed Mundy) of Mars, a grandson, Jason Lang (Jamie), and great-grandchildren, Jameson and Jordan.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, William E. Barr, who she married on August 7, 1959 and died on August 26, 2018.

Friends received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc., 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA 16046 on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10:00 in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 with Fr. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating. Please meet at the church.
