Augustine J. "Augie" (Campbell) Bell

Augustine J. “Augie” Bell, age 74, of Cranberry Twp., passed away on Wednesday afternoon at her home.

Born in New York City on June 21, 1948, she was the daughter of Edward and Jenny Mazerino Campbell.

Augie graduated from William Patterson University with a B.S. in Education and then earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Duquesne University.

She had worked as a school teacher in New Jersey and later worked as an office manager at Schmidt Consulting, was a receptionist at Bally’s in North Hills and finally worked as a manager at Mars Alliance Church, now LifePointe Alliance Church.

She had been a member of Cranberry Community United Presbyterian Church and LifePointe Alliance Church in Bradford Woods.

Surviving are two sons, Douglas Bell of Cranberry Twp. and Lucas Bell of Ambridge, a daughter, Leah Bell Browning (James) of Cambridge, MD, two grandchildren, Kasey and Riley Bell and a sister, Sandra Campbell Wise (Errol) of Sarasota, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Bell, who she married on July 10, 1971 and who died on December 30, 2018.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A private graveside service will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Twp., PA.
