Ann Marie Anderson, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Mars, Pennsylvania, on May 8, 2026. Born on February 19, 1943, in Ridgway, Pennsylvania, Ann was the daughter of the late Robert and Florence McDivitt. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert McDivitt, Jr.
Ann dedicated much of her professional life serving as an office manager and a legal and executive assistant, where she was known for her diligence, professionalism, and kindness. In recent years, she found her greatest joy in time spent with family and friends. She especially enjoyed family gatherings, gardening, and playing cards with dear friends. Her devotion to the Catholic Church was reflected in her service as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at Saint Kilian Church in Cranberry Township.
Ann is survived by her sister, Maureen McDivitt of Grove City, Pennsylvania; her two sons, Scott Anderson and his wife Maura of Tallahassee, Florida, and Greg Anderson and his wife Margaret of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania; and her five beloved grandchildren, Ben, Sarah, Sam, Jake, and Ray Anderson, all of whom brought her tremendous pride and happiness.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Saint Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Road Cranberry Twp PA, 16066.
