Alice C. (Boyle) Hayes

Alice C. Boyle Hayes, age 71, of Virginia Beach, formerly of Valencia, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 17, 2019 at Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 18, 1947, she was the daughter of the late John E. and V. Patricia Dempsey Boyle.

Alice had worked in retail sales at J.C. Penney in Kirwan Heights and Kohl’s in Cranberry.

She was a member of St. Kilian Church and was a Past President of the Mars V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.  Alice had been a Girl Scout Leader and was an avid bowler.

Loving mother of Shane Saddler (Bill) of Virginia Beach, William Hayes, Jr. (Renee) of Mars and Jason Hayes (Kim) of Virginia Beach, grandmother of Alicia, Levi, Lindsey, Bo, Hope, Haylee, Logen, Jeffrey, Troy and Regina.  Sister of Eileen Lichtenfels of Lancaster, Carol A. Boyle of Valencia, John F. Boyle of Gibsonia and Edward J. Boyle (Theresa) of Clayton, N.C. and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hayes, Sr., who she married on May 31, 1969 and who died on December 20, 2013.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd. Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM, with Fr. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating.
